The Pac Bo Historical Site is beautiful in every season; however, the best time to visit is during the dry months (from May to September). During this period, the natural scenery in Pác Bó is at its greenest, the Lenin Stream flows gently, and the weather is ideal for exploring the area.
Located more than 50 kilometers from the city center, the route to Pac Bo passes by many of Cao Bang’s famous attractions, such as Ban Gioc Waterfall and Thang Hen Lake. When you arrive, don’t forget to try Cao Bang’s local specialties, including sour pho, Pac Bo bamboo-tube rice, and local sausages.
