As one of the largest and most famous floating markets in the Mekong Delta, Cai Rang Floating Market comes alive from around 5–6 a.m. Hundreds of boats and small wooden sampans laden with fruits, vegetables, and local specialties—even bowls of bun rieu, hu tieu, and freshly brewed coffee—create a bustling trading scene right on the water. Visitors can sit on a boat to enjoy breakfast, sip hot coffee, and chat with local residents, all of which offers a vivid, rustic experience rich in the distinctive river culture of Vietnam’s southwestern region.
